About the Axe 
A restored vintage Kent pattern axe, stamped 'Junior'  with a razor sharp convex bevel. 

In keeping with the name, I have given this axe a short 9 inch handle - hand carved from British Ash - ideal for more petite carvers or those wishing for a mini axe to pop in a rucksack.

Make no mistakes this axe still packs a punch! It has been restored to a high standard and is ideal for spoon carving, bowl carving and green woodwork. The long edge profile makes this ideal for a range of more intricate tasks, perfect for long slicing cuts and accurate detail carving.
