This stout knife is designed to rough out spoon blanks with ease. The 70mm edge features a long straight edge section for planing cuts, a round belly for roughing out wood efficiently and tapered tip for detail work. 

This knife is most at home taking an axe carved blank into a refined shape with decisive, bold knife technique taking a roughed out blank to a refined spoon with ease

Specifications

• Blade — Forged from 52100 high-carbon steel (ASTM A295), holding a sharp, reliable edge for clean carving and hollow ground for easy sharpening
• Handle — Ash wood, finished with linseed oil 
• Sheath — Handmade veg tanned leather slip sheath 

Hand-forged from hardened 52100 high-carbon steel, the blade takes a keen edge and holds it through years of steady use.
