From Alex: "I have always wanted a hook knife which was curved enough for roughing cuts, yet open enough for finishing cuts, hollow ground, with a smooth convex bevel on the back - shaving sharp out of the box - I am proud to say this is an outstanding all round hook knife."

There's a particular pleasure in hollowing out a spoon bowl or kuksa in long, clean sweeps — and that's exactly what this hook knife is made for. Its long, open curve lets you work deeper and wider concave surfaces with smooth, controlled strokes, so you can shape spoons, kuksas, bowls, and ladles with ease

Hand-forged from hardened 52100 high-carbon steel, the blade takes a keen edge and holds it exceptionally well. The ash handle is finished with linseed oil for a warm, natural grip that stays comfortable through long sessions, and every knife comes with a handmade leather sheath to keep the edge protected and safe between carves.
