About the Tool
A Nic Westermann hook knife for spoon carving, bowl and kuksa carving, with Ash handle and sliding box sheath. This tool is a 'finishing hook'  concave on the inside for easier sharpening and more accurate edge geometry, convex outside for smooth hollowing.

'The compound curve on this blade makes it very versatile, the flatter section will smooth out a spoon bowl very well, but if the tighter curve near the tip is used then a deeper bowl can be hollowed.' 

The tool was bought directly from Nic Westermann, sheathed and handled by myself. The handle has been left unoiled and unpainted should you wish to customise it. The tool has never been used and is shaving sharp.
