Children's Safety Knife for Whittling
The 'Mora Rookie' is a classic safety knife with a rounded safety tip that helps prevent stab wounds.

The Mora Rookie knife is a new sibling to the popular Morakniv Scout knives. This new model has an even more rounded safety tip to further increase safety. Together with the finger guard – that prevents the fingers from slipping onto the blade – the Rookie is a suitable entry knife for children’s woodcarving.

The handle has a finger guard to protect the whittler from slipping.

The slight drawback to this knife is it is stainless steel, (meaning its harder to sharpen and doesn't hold its edge as well as carbon steel) however it makes a good bridge between the Mora Pro Carbon and the Mora 120 for more advanced whittlers.

Tool Care
A blunt knife is an unsafe knife - keep edge tools sharp!
