Children's Safety Knife for Whittling 
The Hultafors safety knife is a robust and affordable knife with a rounded safety tip that prevents injury from pointed tips.

The carbon steel is high quality Japanese steel hardened to 58-69 HRC, making the knife simple to re-sharpen (much easier than stainless steel and it keeps its edge for longer), so you can use it time and time again. 

Tool Care
Carbon steel can be affected by moisture and corrosive environments. So make it a habit to wipe the knife and oil the blade after usage to prevent rusting and pitting
