Carving Medieval Spoons
Dive into the past and discover the art of carving spoons fit for a medieval feast!
We will learn the traditional techniques used by artisans of the past to craft functional and beautifully designed spoons that would have graced the tables of medieval ships and taverns.
The spoon pictured is a replica of those found aboard the Mary Rose in the 16th century. Alex will bring an array of blanks to work from and together we will emulate spoon designs which have stood the test of time!
