Bushcraft 'Flint & Steel': Team Building Experience
Turn sparks into fire with this wonderful team building day crafting modern flint and steels, lighting fires and brewing your coffee in the woods. I'll teach the team how to make a modern flint and steel or ferro rod to light fires the modern bushcraft way

There's so much to be learned from fire lighting, it makes the ideal team building experience, with a touch of competition balanced with the need for team work to get a fire lit and your coffee brewed. This makes for a satisfying workshop as each member will leave with a handcrafted modern flint and steel as a momento for the day

Prices start from £699 for a group of up to 15. Larger group sizes up to 30 are available on request. Prices for larger groups start from £949.99

This is a perfect introduction to woodcraft with no previous experience required of bushcraft or whittling, a perfect way to build team skills and enjoy the many metaphors firecraft can offer

If you have any learning needs such as adjustments due to mobility or other abilities please get in touch, I'm more than happy to explore how to support your learning together.

Approach to Learning
My approach to running workshops is to make them as enjoyable and as accessible as possible. Together as a group we create a positive learning environment where there is no such thing as a stupid question(!) and everyone is put at ease to relax into and enjoy the day.

There is a wonderfully meditative state which can be found when carving wood which can be quite addictive! You'll come away with the opportunity to take away all the tools, skills and resources needed to carry on carving at home.

Venues
My preferred venue is located at Lower Sharpham Barn by the edge of the River Dart, home to Ambios and a large scale re-wilding project with some of the most stunning views in the South of England!

A variety of other woodland venues in South Devon are also available. I can travel to locations within a 250 mile radius on request
