Billet Boxes
I have a good stock of Sycamore wood and am currently offering a billet box service to email subscribers. You'll get 5kg worth of fresh Sycamore in split rectangular or triangular billets roughly 16cm x 3cm in size. This usually provides around 8 - 10 billets. Perfect for carving eating spoons

The billets are from fresh Sycamore and will either be radial or tangentially split, I will make sure you get nice straight (ish!) blanks which will have plenty of material for the spoon design of your choice. Sycamore is a fabulous all round wood for spoons, 

NOTE: Sycmaore will develop blue spot if left in a bag - it also dries very hard, quickly. I recommend carving straight away or carving spoon blanks and freezing them!

Storage
I recommend carving the billets straightaway. If you would like to keep them longer they can be frozen in the freezer or kept in a binbag!

Store outside in a shed or out of direct sunlight in the coolest place possible
