Vintage Whittling Knife
A classic whittling knife by Eric Jönsson of Mora, one of the last traditional toolmakers of Mora, forged, handled and handstitched at the Jönssons Knivfabrik workshop.
Eric is now in his 70's and since 2019 has stopped producing knives due to a fire at their workshop

This a classic carving knife with a high quality narrow and pointed knife blade made of carbon steel, which gives it superior toughness and edge resiliency.
It is a standard size knife at 182mm in length - recommended for medium / small hands. The full tang, which runs the full length of the handle, gives it strength and stability.
The tapered tip allows you to work with precision and really get into all the details. The blade has a fingerguard to protect the knife from slipping and a birchwood handle
The knife comes with a untanned leather sheath with belt loop and folded popper fastener to keep the knife safe and secure
Tool Care
A blunt knife is an unsafe knife - keep edge tools sharp! A coat of linseed oil will keep the edge from rusting
