The Hults Bruk story begins in 1697, hand forging steel and iron with water driven hammers. Over the last three centuries, Hults Bruk has perfected the art of designing and manufacturing premium Swedish axes and are on of the world's greatest forges today. 

This is a fantastic hatchet, restored to a high standard perfect for bushcraft, camping, spoon carving, and green woodwork. A superb all rounder to throw in the rucksack, capable of all tasks, you could fell a small tree with it, split firewood, kindling and carve spoons with it!

I have restored the axe, removing old paint but leaving the patina, linseed oiled the handle and it now  has a convex bevel razor sharp and ready to carve.
