About the Axe 
A restored vintage Eagle Kent pattern axe, with a hand carved British Ash handle and razor sharp convex bevel. The Eagle Edge Tool Co. were very established tool makers in the 19th Century and were incorporated into WHS and bought out by Brades in the early 1900's. Their tools were made with high quality British steel 

This is a fantastic carving axe, restored to a high standard perfect for spoon carving, bowl carving and green woodwork. The handle has been hand carved and feels wonderfully comfortable in the hand 

Kent pattern axes are fantastic carving axes, this one is well balanced and would suit a carver looking for a lighter weight axe. The head is medium to light at 500 grams, with a nice edge profile and convex bevel razor sharp and ready to carve.
