These make the best gifts! Join Alex in the woods by the beautiful River Dart and learn to carve a wooden spoon with hand tools. There are a number of workshops and dates throughout the year to choose from. 

Option 1: Intro to Spoon Carving (Level 1) - A taster morning carving a cooking spoon from a pre-made blank: using a hook knife and a whittling knife to carve your spoon

Option 2: Spoon Carving (Level 2) - For those with a little experience (or who have done level 1). We do the whole journey from log to spoon, with axes, hook knives and straight knives

Our venue is located at Lower Sharpham Barn by the edge of the River Dart, near Totnes, home to Ambios and a large scale re-wilding project with some of the most stunning views in the South of England!
