The pro kit covers all bases, you can sharpen edge tools from dull to scarily sharp in one sequence: from Coarse 440 grit to Extra Fine 20,000 grit.  The kit uses high quality abrasive films which are self adhesive and refillable providing a great solution for keeping tools sharp without the costs associated with a full waterstone / diamond stone setup.

From Blunt to Scary Sharp
You can take a dull knife with an imperfect edge to a razor sharp carving tool with this set. Having a full set of blocks incentivizes sharpening as all the grits are within arms reach at all times. Start at 440 grit for blunt edges and work up to 20,000 grit, which will put a scarily sharp edge on your tool.  

The abrasives are top quality and long lasting and can simply be lubricated with water
