A pair of spoons for the lovers! These spoons are a tribute to the one whose love shines like the sun on a summer's day and the moon and stars on a still winter's night

The spoons have been finished with blue milk paint, gold acrylic and tung oil

This Beech spoon was carved from a tree which was growing next to Callington Fire Station in Devon. The tree had become too large and dangerous so had to be take down. It has provided a lot of beautiful wood for treen 

Spoon Care:
This spoon is designed to be eaten with and well used - don't be afraid to use it on a daily basis! The only thing to avoid is putting it in the dishwasher, or leaving it to soak in the washing up bowl.

I always make sure my spoons are bone dry before putting them away in the drawer.

To give the spoon a new lease of life from time to time you can add a coat of flax oil, walnut oil (careful of nut allergies) or linseed oil, but this is not essential.
