Marttini 'Lynx' Forged Knife
The Lynx was the first knife to be made by Marttiini, and it has been in continuous production since the factory's very beginning. The Lynx was awarded the “Best Product” award at the Viipuri Fair in 1932. The main characteristic of the Lynx is the blade's curve. It features a forged Carbon steel 1.2235 / 80CrV2, HRC 59.5 blade and a handle carved from curly birch. The knife is housed in an embossed leather sheath, embodying the craftsmanship and Finnish heritage of nearly 100 years of tool making.

The knife has a total length of 23cm, and a long 11cm 'scandi' ground blade with a robust heat treat suitable for use an all round bushcraft and carving knife.

This knife has remained in the Marttiini range almost continuously since the company was formed in 1928. The years have not reduced its popularity as the king of general purpose knives. This knife continues to be one of Marttiini's best selling knives with over 4 million pieces sold worldwide

Marttini Knives: A Story of Arctic Evolution
In 1928, blacksmith Janne Marttiini founded a knife factory in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland, driven by the need to create high-quality utility knives for harsh Arctic conditions. Marttiini crafted knives using natural materials like leather, curly birch, and reindeer antler, paired with ultra-sharp blades made from the finest steel. His creations quickly proved to be the perfect tools for tough environments, blending beauty with exceptional functionality. Today, Marttiini knives continue to embody generations of craftsmanship and modern technology, representing the strength and beauty of the far North.
