Into the Woods Experience
Join us in the woods for an immersive experience of harvesting wood, learning the art of whittling, and cooking and eating around the campfire. 

We'll be in a beautiful deciduous woodland where there is the opportunity and permission for us to harvest wood for whittling. We'll learn how to safely and sustainably cut and gather wood, learn about tree identification, mythology and folklore, the uses of wood and while the hours away whittling

They'll be the choice of a number of whittling projects from a Woodland Wizard or a Skulk Of Foxes to a Tawny Owl or have a go at all three! I'll offer detailed instructions, handouts and cover a variety of knife techniques so you can carry on carving at home or in the woods. 

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and intermediate carvers.
