Billet Boxes
I have a good stock of Cherry wood and am currently offering a billet box service to email subscribers. You'll get 5kg worth of fresh Cherry in split rectangular or triangular billets roughly 16cm x 3cm in size. This usually provides around 8 - 10 billets. Perfect for carving eating spoons

The billets are from fresh Cherry and will either be radial or tangentially split, I will make sure you get nice straight (ish!) blanks which will have plenty of material for the spoon design of your choice. Cherry is a fabulous all round wood for spoons, its sapwood is pale in colour, and the heartwood can be a lovely range of oranges and pinks. It is one of my favourite woods to carve 

Storage
I recommend carving the billets straightaway. If you would like to keep them longer they can be frozen in the freezer or kept in a binbag!

Store outside in a shed or out of direct sunlight in the coolest place possible
