I'm bringing a unique collection of hand-carved wares the majority of which were carved from trees grown within a 20 mile radius of Bovey Tracey with axe knife and edge tools
Each piece has a subtle narrative which tells the journey from firewood to finish piece. I am proud to know the exact location each tree I have carved grew, and how the wood came to be in my hands. From a Beech tree in Callington to Beech grown in Ermington to a little Cherry tree in Dartington not to mention Bovey Tracey's own giant Strawberry Tree!
If you buy a piece, it will be labelled with the 3 what3words which give an pinpoint location of where the tree grew, and you will be supporting the work of a truly sustainable and wonderful craft
